Biography:

Jennifer Ellison was born on May 30, 1983 in Liverpool, England. She began to study dancing at the age of three. She was then accepted to attend Royal Academy of Dance.

She achieved further success in dance when she won Ballet and Modern Dance titles at the IDTA Theatre Dance Championships in 1996 and 1997. The following year, she was awarded the Carl Alan Award for ballet.

She gained fame on television when she starred as Emily Shadwick in the soap opera Brookside from 1998 to 2003. In 2004, she competed in the reality show Hell’s Kitchen, which she went on to win.
