Kay Lenz is an American actress. She’s been acting since the 1970s with her breakout role in the 1973 film Breezy. For her role here, she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Her performance as Dorie in the TV program The ABC Afternoon Playbreak also won her the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Special. Later in 1976, she starred in the miniseries Rich Man, Poor Man, whcih got her a Primetime Emmy nomination. In the 1980s, she was praised for some of her performances on TV, such as in the drama series Midnight Caller. She also starred in the film House. Later in 1991, she starred as Maggie Zombro in the NBC series Reasonable Doubts. Her most recent work was in the 2017 film The Downside of Bliss.
