Biography:

Katie Stevens was born on December 8, 1992 in Southbury, Connecticut, U.S.. She began singing at an early age, first singing in front of an audience when she was five. She also became involved with the local community theater, which sharpened her performing skills. She then came to prominence after placing eight place on American Idol‘s ninth season.

After being eliminated, she appeared in various talk shows, exposing her to a wider audience. She is currently working on her first studio album though she hasn’t signed with a recording label yet. In 2014, she gained further recognition for playing the role of Karma Ashcroft on the MTV series Faking It.
