Biography:

John Krasinski was born on October 20, 1979 in Newton, Massachusetts, U.S.. He studied theater arts at Brown University where he graduated in 2001. His breakthrough happened in 2005 after he started playing the role of Jim Halpert in the hit comedy series The Office, playing the part until 2013. He has recently appeared in the shows Arrested Development and Lip Sync Battle, the latter of which he appeared as himself.

He has also launched a career on the big screen since the early 2000s but only secured leading roles in such films as License to Wed opposite Mandy Moore, It’s Complicated, Something Borrowed, and Big Miracle opposite Drew Barrymore. In 2009, he wrote, directed, produced and starred in the film Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, which earned him a nomination for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
