Biography:

John Abraham was born on December 17, 1972 in Mumbai, India. He attended Jai Hind College where he received his bachelor’s degree in economics. He also received an MMS from Mumbai Educational Trust.

As a model, he appeared in numerous commercials and music videos for singers including Pankaj Udhas, Hans Raj Hans and Babul Supriyo.

As an actor, he starred in such Bollywood films as Jism, Saaya, Paap and Lakeer – Forbidden Lines.

He also joined the cast of Deepa Mehta’s Water, which received an international acclaim and was nominated at the 79th Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film.
