Hollywood star Jillian Rose Reed debuted with a small role in Zoey 101. She later played Simone, a recurring character in the Showtime series Weeds. She next had one-time roles in the TV shows Community, Hung, and The Middle. Reed gained mainstream recognition for starring as Tamara Kaplan in the MTV series Awkward. She starred on the said series from 2011 to 2016.

For her performance, she got nominated for a Young Artist Award Best Performance in a TV Series – Leading Young Actress. Simultaneously, she guest-starred in Pair of Kings, Supah Ninjas, Ghost Ghirls, and Jessie. Also, she starred in the TV movies My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 3 and Whats So Scary About Common Core. In 2013, she had her first movie role in Age of Dinosaurs.

The following year, she played the role of Megan in the film Confessions of a Womanizer. Her latest film role was in 2018’s Sharon 1.2.3. She then ventured into voice acting as well. Since 2016, she plays the voice of Naomi Turner in the animated series Elena of Avalor. She reprised her role in the TV film Elena and the Secret of Avalor. More recently, she guest-starred in Daytime Divas and Lucifer, as well as starred in the miniseries Mondays.

When it comes to eating right, the actress listens to her body and tries to be mindful of her food choices without being too strict about it. “I try to be conscious but not stress myself. I basically say, “If I’m going to regret eating this, then I won’t eat it.” But I have my weaknesses,” said Reed.

Talking about her diet plan, she shared: “Breakfast is Special K cereal. If I’m having a big meal, it’s lunch instead of dinner. Some kind of wrap, like chicken for protein. For dinner mainly vegetables. I mix it up if I go out to eat. For a snack, I’ve been trying chia seeds. I try it a couple times a week. Boosts your metabolism.”
