Jane Seymour is a British-American actress. She started her acting career in the 1970s. During her beginnings, she appeared on the shows The Strauss Family and The Onedin Line. She then got a Primetime Emmy nomination for her work on the miniseries Captains and the Kings. As a film actress, she first had her breakthrough as Solitaire in the James Bond film Live and Let Die in 1973. The following decade, she starred in the films Somewhere in Time and Head Office. She was also acclaimed for her work on the miniseries East of Eden. She then portrayed Wallis Simpson in the TV movie The Woman He Loved. She next starred as Natalie Henry on the miniseries War and Remembrance. In the ’90s, she played the lead on the show Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Her most recent role on television was on Hooten & the Lady.
