Hollywood star Bonnie Somerville debuted in an episode of Two Guys and a Girl in 1998. She next guest-starred on Beverly Hills, 90210, followed a role on the TV movie Shake, Rattle and Roll: An American Love Story. She later made her film debut in 2000’s Crime and Punishment in Suburbia with a minor role. On television, she landed her first starring role as Courtney Scott on short-lived sitcom Grosse Pointe. She next played the recurring role of Mona on Friends. After this, she starred as Alex Pellet Landis on the show In-Laws and played the recurring part of Rachel Hoffman on The O.C.

Following this, she played Det. Laura Murphy on NYPD Blue and Mimi on Kitchen Confidential. In 2008, she starred as Caitlin Dowd on Cashmere Mafia. At the same time, she had roles in the films Without a Paddle, Shades of Ray, Labor Pains, and The Ugly Truth. In the 2010s, she starred as Det. Deb McKenzie on the CBS series Golden Boy and Christa Lorenson on Code Black. She also performed in the movies The Best and the Brightest, Seven Below, Fire with Fire, and The Prince. She stars in the upcoming romantic drama film A Star Is Born.

The 44-year-old actress maintains her slender figure and overall fitness by following a clean diet plan. Judging from her radiant glow, the actress focuses on consuming clean, whole foods on a regular basis. Now that she’s in her 40s, she knows better than to eat junk foods which are usually loaded with no nutrition whatsoever, just the bad stuff. With this, the Code Black actress’ diet plan mainly consists of lean protein from fish and chicken. She also eats whole grain oats and cereals, as well as mix vegetables into her meals. She also snacks on nuts, yogurt, and fruits to keep her full.
