Hollywood celebrity Jackie Tohn had her acting beginnings in the 1990s, debuting in the TV series The Nanny. She also appeared in an episode of The Sopranos. In the 2000s, she mostly made guest roles in such television shows as Strangers with Candy, Veronica Mars, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Closer, and Memphis Beat. During this period, Tohn also had performances in some films. This included Dawg (film debut), Deuces Wild, and Postal.

Also, the actress starred in a few TV movies, as well as in the direct-to-video film Return to Sleepaway Camp. From 2010 to 2011, she appeared in 4 episodes of For a Green Card. She went on to guest-star in CSI: NY, Zeke and Luther, Rules of Engagement, Castle, and The Good Place. In 2015, she had supporting roles in the films Jem and the Holograms and Sisters. She later starred in the 2017 film CHiPs.

That same year, Tohn gained popularity for starring as Melanie Rosen in the Netflix series GLOW, which she still stars in up to present. In 2018, she portrayed comedian-actress Gilda Radner in the biographical film A Futile and Stupid Gesture. Apart from her acting work on TV and film, Tohn also appeared as herself in the TV programs Drop the Mic, WWE SmackDown, and Epic Rap Battles of History. In 2019, she guest-starred in an episode of the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys.

Jackie Tohn stays in shape by following a healthy lifestyle. She exercises whenever she can and eats clean, whole foods. Already in her 40s, the actress has since learned to stay awat from processed foods. She rarely eats foods high in salt, sugar, and fats. Instead, she nourishes her body and mind with foods rich in proteins and healthy fats, such as fish and chicken. She also eats plenty of fiber-rich foods such as whole grains oatmeal, fruits, and veggies.
