Biography:

Eric Dane was born on November 9, 1972 in San Francisco, California, USA. He moved to Los Angeles in 1993 to pursue a career in acting. He then played small roles in such TV shows as Saved by the Bell, The Wonder Years, and Married With Children.

In 2000, he had his first recurring role in the TV series Gideon’s Crossing, followed with a two-season appearance in the hit show Charmed.

He has appeared in films, including Feast, X-Men: The Last Stand and Open Water 2. He is well-known for his role as Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloan in the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy.
