Embeth Davidtz first acted in an episode of the British series Screen Two in 1989. Later in 1992, she made her big screen debut in the film Army of Darkness. The following year, she portrayed Helen Hirsch in the acclaimed movie Schindler’s List. Subsequently, she starred in the movies Murder in the First, Feast of July, Fallen, and The Gingerbread Man. She also became known for her role as Miss Jennifer Honey in Matilda.

She next had performances in the feature films Simon Magus, Mansfield Park, and Bicentennial Man. On television, she had notable performances as Ellen Baines Croland in Citizen Baines, Amy in In Treatment, and Felicia Koons in Californication. Between 2009 and 2012, she also played recurring character Rebecca Pryce in Mad Men. Also in the 2000s, she starred in the movies Bridget Jones’s Diary, The Hole, Thir13en Ghosts, The Emperor’s Club, Junebug, Fracture, and Fragments.

In the 2010s, she starred in the movies 3 Backyards, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Paranoia, and Europa Report. In 2012, she played Mary Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man. She reprised her role in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. After this, she portrayed Natasha Lytess in the miniseries The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe. In 2016, she played recurring character Sonia Kovitzky in Ray Donovan. She’ll star as Paige Kessler in the upcoming web series The Morning Show.

The actress is already in her 50s. Thus, she’s already at the point in her life where sticking to a healthy lifestyle comes naturally. Her cancer diagnosis and her subsequent surgery and treatments had also dictated how her lifestyle should be, which should be clean and healthy. Apart from her diet plan, Embeth Davidtz also takes care of her body now by exercising. While she doesn’t perform any rigorous workout routine, she makes sure she has physical activity. She runs, does yoga, and tries other fitness regimen as well.
