Eddie Marsan is an English actor whose career started in the late ’90s. He debuted in the 1997 film Get Well Soon. He next had appearances in the films The Vice, This Year’s Love, and Janice Beard 45 WPM. In the 2000s, he had performances in the movies The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Bunker, The Monkey King, Gangs of New York, and 21 Grams. He later portrayed Titus Oates in the TV movie Charles II: The Power and The Passion. His next roles were in the movies Beowulf & Grendel, The New World, V for Vendetta, Mission: Impossible III, and Miami Vice. In 2008, he was acclaimed for his performance in the film Happy-Go-Lucky. He went on to portray Inspector Lestrade in Sherlock Holmes and its sequel Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. On TV, he became known for his role as Terry Donovan in the Showtime Ray Donovan, a role he still plays up to present.
