Biography:

Diana Vickers was born on July 30, 1991 in Blackburn, United Kingdom. She came to public attention as a semi-finalist in The X Factor in 2008. The following year, she signed a record deal with RCA Records.

She then released her debut album, Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree, in May 2010. She also played the title character in a West End revival of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, winning the “London Newcomer of the Year” award.

Her debut single, “Once”, peaked at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart and has sold over 220, 000 copies in the UK. Her second single, “The Boy Who Murdered Love” and her third song, “My Wicked Heart”, also gained mainstream recognition.
