David O’Hara is a Scottish actor. His acting career started during the ’80s. He debuted in the 1984 Scottish film Comfort and Joy. He next appeared in the movies Link and The Monocled Mutineer. During the ’90s, he had roles in the movies The Bridge, Braveheart, The Devil’s Own, and The Matchmaker. The following decade, he became known for starring as Det. Danny ‘Mac’ McGregor on the American series The District. He went on to perform in such films as Made, Den of Lions, Hotel Rwanda, Tristan and Isolde, and The Departed. He later played Mr. X in the film Wanted. In 2010, he portrayed Henry Howard, Earl of Surrey on the TV series The Tudors. That same year, he played Albert Runcorn in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. He recently played Alistair Fitz on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
