Biography:

Darcy Rose Byrnes was born on November 4, 1998 in Burbank, California, USA. She started her career as a baby, appearing in the direct-to-video film Singing Babies: Nursery Rhyme Time. Later in 2003, she starred as Abby Carlton Newman in the soap opera The Young and the Restless. At the same time, she guest-starred in some other shows like Without a Trace and Cold Case.

She also reprised her role as Abby Carlton Newman in The Bold and the Beautiful. In 2008, she played Lucy Zinman in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother, as well as appeared as Kiki George in Dirty Sexy Money. She gained wider recognition in the 2010s, starring as Penny Scavo in Desperate Housewives and voicing Ikki in The Legend of Korra. She became more active as a voice actress recently. As of 2017, she plays the voice of Maricela in the animated series Spirit Riding Free.
