Hollywood actress Candice Accola had her career beginnings in 2007, debuting in the film Pirate Camp. Also that year, she had her first television role as Amy in an episode of How I Met Your Mother, as well as appeared in the films Juno, On the Doll, and X’s & O’s. Her subsequent film roles were in Deadgirl and Love Hurts. Back on TV, she guest-starred in Supernatural and Greek.

She came to prominence starring as Caroline Forbes in The CW’s The Vampire Diaries. She was part of the show’s main cast from 2009 to 2017, which aired on television for eight seasons. At the same time, she had roles in the independent films Kingshighway and The Truth About Angels. Accola also guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva and reprised her role as Caroline in some episodes of the spin-off series The Originals.

In 2012, she starred as the lead in the series Dating Rules from My Future Self, which she also produced. More recently, she appeared in an episode of The Orville. Just this year, she starred as Kimberly Vance in the romantic drama film After We Collided. The actress has also appeared as herself in some TV shows, including Big Morning Buzz Live, Whose Line Is It Anyway, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Fashion Police.

For The Vampire Diaries actress Candice Accola, the best way to exercise is to have fun while doing it. With this, it’s obvious she’s not a fan of taxing and strenous workouts. That’s why she prefers simple exercises and dancing as her go-to workout. “It’s supposed to make you feel good, not make you feel like you’re going to vomit, curl up, and never get out of bed. You should leave excited and feeling good about your body,” said the actress. “That’s what dance does for me.”
