Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel‘s acting career started in the early 2000s. Her Bollywood debut was in Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai. Afterwards, she made her Telugu debut in Badri. Her performance in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha earned her a Filmfare Award for Special Performance. She was also nominated for the Best Actress Award. Her acting in the movie Humraaz was also praised. This also got her a Filmfare nomination for Best Actress. She next first made her Tamil role in Pudhiya Geethai. Other notable roles were in Ankahee, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. In 2013, she starred in the movie Shortcut Romeo. She will star in the upcoming film Desi Magic.

She may already be in her 40s, but Ameesha Patel remains fit and healthy. She understands the importance of eating healthy. She knows that by choosing nutritious foods, she’s able to stay radiant and healthy overall. She’s not into much dieting. She doesn’t believe in any fad diets. She prefers following a simple diet by sticking to lean proteins and fruits and veggies. She’s against crash dieting as she believes it’s not good for health. She doesn’t like the idea of starving herself in order to lose weight.

In an interview, she said: “I’m not the kind that survived on black coffee and juices. I know my Japanese cuisine from my French; I ravel in ordering the choicest of meals.” Every now and then, she indulges in her cravings but she also makes it a point to eat only in moderation. She believes in the importance of portion control as overeating results to weight gain. In all her meals, she incorporates fruits and veggies all the time. These are great for her skin and overall health and fitness. This is the reason why she’s able to maintain her youthfulness and health.
