Amara Karan is a British actress. She had her career beginnings in the mid-2000s. Her first role was as Rita in the 2007 film The Darjeeling Limited. That same year, she appeared in an episode of The Bill. She also had a role in the movie St Trinian’s. She next appeared in an episode of Agatha Christie’s Poirot. In the 2010s, she guest-starred in Doctor Who and played Carrie Heath in several episodes of the miniseries Kidnap and Ransom. At the same time, she had performances in the films The Task, All in Good Time, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, and Jadoo.
