Biography:

Ali Fazal was born on October 15, 1986 in Lucknow, India. He studied at The Doon School where he developed his interest for theatre. He began his career appearing in TV commercials for Pizza Hut, Union Bank of India and LG, among others.

In 2008, he made his film debut with the feature The Other End of the Line playing the role of Vij. The following year, he made his breakthrough after being cast as Jay Lobo in the Bollywood box-office hit 3 Idiots.

He has since starred in other motion pictures including Always Kabhi Kabhi, Fukrey and Baat Ban Gayi. It was also recently announced that he is set to star in the Hollywood movie Fast & Furious 7.
