Biography:

Alan Ritchson was born on November 28, 1984 in Grand Forks, North Dakota, U.S.. After high school, he attended Northwest Florida State College where he finished a degree in Associate of Arts. He started his career as a model where he modeled for catalogues. In 2004, he made his debut on television as a contestant on American Idol. He next landed the recurring role of Aquaman on Smallville.

During this time, he appeared in the films The Butcher, Steam, and Fired Up!. His career became more active in the 2010s. During this time, he starred as Kevin Devlin “Thad” Castle on the TV series Blue Mountain State. In 2013, he appeared as Gloss in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. He went on to play Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and its sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
