Biography:

Amber Heard was born in Austin, Texas on April 22, 1986. As a teenager, she was active in her school’s drama department and appeared in local commercials and campaigns. She quit high school to pursue a career in Hollywood.

Once in Los Angeles, she made appearances in a variety of TV shows and two music videos. Her first film role was Maria in Friday Night Lights.

In 2006, she played the lead character in All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her breakthrough came in 2008 with roles in Never Back Down and Pineapple Express.
