Abigail Breslin was born on April 14, 1996 in New York City, USA. She appeared in her first commercial when she was just three years old. In 2002, she appeared in her first film, Signs.

Her breakout role was in the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine, where she portrayed Olive Hoover. The movie was a critical and commercial success and Breslin’s performance was praised by critics.

Her subsequent films include No Reservations, Nim’s Island, Definitely, Maybe, My Sister’s Keeper, Zombieland, Rango and The Call.

She is also one of the youngest actresses to get an Academy Award nomination.
