Tom Pelphrey

Tom Pelphrey was born on July 28, 1982 in Howell, New Jersey, U.S. He attended Rutgers University where he got his BFA degree. In 2004, he made his television debut as Jonathan Randall in the soap opera Guiding Light. For his role, he won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series twice.

In 2008, he had his first feature film role in Birds of America. After his gig in Guiding Light ended, he landed the role of Mick Dante in the soap opera As the World Turns. Later in 2015, he played Kurt Bunker in Banshee. He became further known for his role as Ward Meachum in the Netflix series Iron Fist. He was recently cast as Ben Davis in Ozark’s Season 3.
