Biography:

Thomas Doherty was born on 21 April 1995 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He attended The MGA Academy of Performing Arts where he studied musical theater. In 2013, he made his acting debut with a small role in an episode of Dracula. His first starring role on television was as Sean Matthews in the musical drama series The Lodge.

After this, he starred as Harry Hook in the Disney TV movie Descendants 2. He reprised his role in the short film Under The Sea: A Descendants Story, as well as in the sequel Descendants 3. Doherty also portrayed Peter Zavadovsky in one episode of Catherine the Great. He recently captured further attention for his recurring role as Sebastian in Legacies. The actor was also cast for a main role in the upcoming reboot of Gossip Girl.
