Biography:

Tatyana Ali was born on January 24, 1979 in Brooklyn, New York. She started acting at the age of six as a regular child performer in Sesame Street.

In 1990, she made her breakthrough as Ashley Banks in the series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She also became known for her role as Roxanne in The Young and the Restless and as Tyana Jones in Love That Girl!.

The year 1998 saw her venture into music when she released her debut album, Kiss the Sky. She then went on to star in a number of films including Kiss the Girls and Home Again, to name a few.
