Tara Sutaria is one of Bollywood’s busiest actresses this year. Starting her career on television with Disney India’s Big Bada Boom in 2010, her acting career looks to be promising. After her TV debut, she again appeared as herself in the variety show Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega.

She then had a cameo role in the sitcom Best of Luck Nikki before gaining recognition for starring as Vinnie in Disney Channel India’s The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir. Following this, she played the titular character in the television series Oye Jassie. She went on to appear as herself in Shake It Up, the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood series of the same name. Some years later, she ultimately pursued a movie career as well.

As such, she landed one of the starring roles in the 2019 Bollywood film Student of the Year 2. Playing the role of Mia, she got a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, while winning the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. That same year, she also starred in the romantic-action film Marjaavaan. Sutaria is currently filming the upcoming Bollywood movie Tadap.

In some of her interviews, Tara Sutaria has implied that she doesn’t follow any diet plans. Fans also see her post pictures of indulgent food in her social media so she’s not much a strict, health-conscious eater. “I can’t follow a strict diet and my mother tells me that we shouldn’t deprive our body of the things we want to eat. I’m in my 20s and I’m lucky it doesn’t show on my body at least,” said the actress.

Of course, she still needs to do something to take care of herself and right now it’s exercising. She did, however, say that she avoids carbs when filming because high-carbs food like rice makes her feel bloated and overall feeling lethargic when she has too much of it.
