Biography:

Tanaya Beatty was born on February 12, 1991 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She graduated from the Vancouver Film School. In 2011, she made her film debut as Rachel Black in the Hollywood film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. The following year, she had her first television role as Jessica Finch in True Justice. Shortly after, she starred as Caitlin Janvier in the short-lived show Arctic Air.

She next had performances in the films Words and Pictures and Hochelaga, Land of Souls. From 2016 to 2017, she starred as Dr. Shannon Rivera in The Night Shift. After this, she played the part of Avery in the Paramount series Yellowstone. Her latest movie role was in 2018’s Through Black Spruce. Beatty will star in the upcoming HBO miniseries, Lewis and Clark.
