Biography:

Shriya Pilgaonkar was born on 25 April 1989 in Mumbai, India. She attended Mumbai’s Xavier’s College where she finished a Sociology degree. Being interested in performing, she also attended the Film and Television Institute of India. She had initially made her debut when she was five on the Hindi serial Tu Tu Main Main.

She returned in the 2010s appearing in the movie Ekulti Ek. For her performance here, she was awarded the Maharashtra State Government Award for Best Debut Actress. Her next role was in the French film Un plus une. Her starring role in the Hindi film Fan led her to greater recognition.
