Biography:

Samara Weaving was born on 23 February 1992 in Adelaide, Australia. She lived in Singapore, Fiji and Indonesia as she was growing up. In 2004, she returned to Australia. There, she attended Canberra Girls’ Grammar School. During her younger years, she had already an active acting experiences. She had performed with Singapore Dance Company and Canberra Youth Theatre.

In 2008, she became known for her role as Kirsten Mulroney on the Australian series Out of the Blue. This is also marked her screen debut. The following year, she started playing the role of Indi Walker on the long-running soap opera Home and Away. She did so until 2013. Her first movie appearance was in 2013’s Mystery Road. In 2015, she made her Hollywood debut with a guest role on the show Ash vs Evil Dead. She has also appeared in the Hollywood film Monster Trucks.
