Molly Ringwald Diet Plan

Molly Ringwald

Hollywood star Molly Ringwald came to prominence in the 1980s. After making her film debut in Tempest in 1982, she cemented her fame with her performances in John Hughes films. These are Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink. She became a teen icon during this period. She continued acting in the ’90s, delivering noteworthy performances in the movies Something to Live for: The Alison Gertz Story and The Stand. She didn’t work on many films in the 2000s but she became more active on television.

She first made guest appearances on various shows. From 2008 to 2013, she became known for her role as Anne Juergens in the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager. More recently, she had supporting roles in the movies Jem and the Holograms, King Cobra, and SPF-18. This year, she also appeared in the movies The Kissing Booth and Siberia. Additionally, she played Paige Wayney in the short-lived series Raising Expectations. As of 2017, she plays Mary Andrews in Riverdale.

The 50-year-old actress loves food and she doesn’t follow any diet plan because that would limit her from eating the foods she loves. Of course, she eats healthy foods most of the time. Nonetheless, she doesn’t avoid carbs like most actresses do. She eats whatever she wants but she knows she also needs to be moderate about her eating habits. Thus, she always incorporates portion control in her meals. In an interview, she said:

“I’m a serious foodie, so I’ll never be the person who cuts out carbs completely. I never want to say goodbye to gluten. I’m sure I would weigh less than I do if I was more regimented, but then I wouldn’t have the life I do. I love the social aspect of eating and going out for meals. My philosophy is just to enjoy life.”
