Biography:

Melonie Diaz was born on April 25, 1984 in New York City, New York, U.S. She studied acting at the Professional Performing Arts School in Manhattan.

She also studied Film Production at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. In 2001, she made her film debut with her role as Maribel Benitez in Double Whammy.

Her breakout role came as Blanca in the 2005 film Lords of Dogtown. The following year, she also gained notice for her role as Laurie A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints. Other films include Remember the Daze, Be Kind Rewind, Hamlet 2 and many others.
