Martin Henderson is a New Zealand actor. He started his work on television during the late 1980s. In the ’90s, he had his first starring role as Stuart Neilson in the New Zealand series Shortland Street. He next starred as Tom Nash in the Australian show Sweat. He also played Geoff Thomas in the Aussie soap opera Home and Away. From 1997-1999, he starred as Scotty Gibbs in the drama series Big Sky. In 2002, he made his Hollywood debut as Private Thomas Nellie in the film Windtalkers. He next starred as Noah Clay in the horror film The Ring. He next had performances in Bride and Prejudice, Little Fish, Flyboys, Smokin’ Aces, Battle in Seattle, and Cedar Boys. In the 2010s, he starred as Dr. Benjamin “Ben” Keeton in the ABC series Off the Map. After this, he starred as Harold Jensen in Sundance TV’s The Red Road. He recently became known for starring as Dr. Nathan Riggs in Grey’s Anatomy.
