Mara Wilson is an American writer and actress. Starting her career as a child actress, she debuted as Natalie “Nattie” Hillard in the film Mrs. Doubtfire. She next starred in the movie Miracle on 34th Street. She gained wider recognition for playing the titular lead in the 1996 fantasy comedy film Matilda. On TV, she had her first role as Nicole “Nikki” Petrova in Melrose Place. She’s also starred in the made-for-television films A Time to Heal and Balloon Farm. In 2000, she starred in the film Thomas and the Magic Railroad, after which she took a hiatus for more than a decade. Wilson returned to Hollywood recently but has mostly done voice acting. From 2018 to 2019, she was the voice of Liv Amara in Big Hero 6: The Series.
