Biography:

Kelley Jakle was born on June 27, 1989 in Carmichael, California, U.S.. After high school, she enrolled at the University of Southern California where she majored in Communications. While a student there, she became a member of the a cappella group SoCal VoCals. In 2009, she joined the television competition The Sing-Off where she was part of a group but was eliminated.

She went on to join again as part of another group and finished in the third place. After graduating from the university, she left for Los Angeles to begin an acting career. Her experience as an a cappella singer led her to be cast as Jessica in the 2012 film Pitch Perfect, which became her film debut. She will reprise her role in 2015’s Pitch Perfect 2.
