Biography:

Jessie James was born on April 12, 1988 in Vicenza, Italy. She has auditioned for several country labels in Nashville, Tennessee when she was 15 although she was rejected by all of them. This led her to work harder to refine her craft.

While working with Karla Wallace of Yellow Dog Records, one of her songs caught the attention of Mercury Records which offered her a recording deal. In August 2009, she released her debut album, Jessie James.

The album debuted at Number 23 on the Billboard 200 and received mixed reception from critics. Its first single, “Wanted”, reached Number 40 on the Billboard Hot 100.
