Jason Behr was born on December 30, 1973 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, US. His career began as a commercial actor, appearing in more than 75 television ads. He made his acting debut on the small screen in Step by Step. His first starring role was in the show Sherman Oaks. He next starred in the TV film Alien Nation: Millennium. In 1998, he starred as Dempsey Easton in the show Push. At the same time, he played recurring character Chris Wolfe in Dawson’S Creek.

His huge break came as Max Evans in the television series Roswell, which aired from 1999 to 2002. The rest of the 2000s saw him star in unsold pilots.
