Biography:

Jacqueline Fernandez was born on June 2, 1985 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Before becoming an actress, she was a former beauty queen, having been crowned as Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006.

In 2009, she made her Bollywood debut in the film Aladin, for which she won an International Indian Film Academy Award for Best Female Debut. Aside from this, she also received a Stardust Award for Lux Exciting New Face in 2010.

She gained wider attention the following year for her starring role in Mahesh Bhatt’s box-office hit Murder 2. She has since appeared in blockbuster films such as Housefull 2 and Race 2.
