Emily Deschanel Workout Routine

Emily Deschanel

It was in 1994 that American actress Emily Deschanel started her career. She made her first screen appearance in It Could Happen to You. She became more active in the 2000s, appearing in the shows Rose Red and Providence. She also landed roles in the movies Easy, Cold Mountain, and The Alamo. She later starred in the horror film Boogeyman. She achieved her major breakthrough in 2005 after securing the lead role in the television series Bones.

She was part of the show’s main cast until its finale in 2017. Her role here also earned her People’s Choice Award nominations. Simultaneously, she had roles in the movies Glory Road, My Sister’s Keeper, and The Perfect Family. She had also made guest appearances in other TV shows. In addition, she had also reprised her role as Dr. Brennan in the shows Sleepy Hollow and BoJack Horseman.

The television star maintains her health and fitness by sticking to an active lifestyle. In an interview, she revealed how she tried yoga before and that it didn’t work for her. She said: “I used to, but now I’m so busy that it stresses me out. All I can think the whole time is, “How long am I going to be here?” The last class I took was with my sister, who, by the way, used to be annoyed that I was so into yoga. The teacher was so slow I wanted to strangle her. That’s not very Zen!”

So, how does she stay in shape? She said: “I have a treadmill, and I work out with my trainer, Julie Diamond, as often as possible. She’s so positive. She’s never like, “Move your fat butt!” It’s more like, “Think of how you’ll feel when you’re in great shape.” And she’s right. There are weeks when I don’t exercise at all, and I don’t feel good.”
