Douglas Smith is a Canadian-American actor. His acting career started in the mid-1990s. During his early years, he appeared in the shows The X-Files and The Outer Limits. His first movie role was in 1997’s The Death Game, followed by Blast from the Past. In the 2000s, he appeared in the movie Partners in Action. He also landed his first starring role on the small screen – as Reilly Evans in Out There. He later acted in the movies Hangman’s Curse, Sleepover, Santa’s Slay, and Citizen Duane. From 2006 to 2011, he gained further recognition for his role as Ben Henrickson in HBO’s Big Love. Simultaneously, he starred in the feature Remember the Daze. In the 2010s, he mostly had roles in the movies, such as in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Terminator Genisys, and The Bye Bye Man. This year, he starred as Marcus Isaacson in the limited series The Alienist.
