Dolph Lundgren is a Swedish actor. In the 1980s, he gained recognition in Hollywood for his role as Soviet boxer Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. After this, he portrayed He-Man in 1987’s Masters of the Universe. He also played Frank Castle in the 1989 film The Punisher. Throughout his career, the actor has starred in over 60 films, most of which are in the action genre. In the 2000s, he ventured into directing with the movies The Defender, The Mechanik, and Missionary Man, which he also starred in. He also starred in dozens of direct-to-video films, rarely working in mainstream cinema starting in the mid-1990s. That changed when he played Gunner Jensen in 2010’s The Expendables, which he reprised in the sequels. In 2018, he also played King Nereus in Aquaman.
