Divyanka Tripathi

Divyanka Tripathi is widely known in India for her work on the small screen. She debuted in 2003 as a contestant in Zee Teen Queen. She was also a contestant in India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj. Her first starring performance was as Vidya / Divya in the soap opera Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. She played the said role from 2006 to 2009, gaining her recognition.

At the same time, she appeared as herself in the show Nachle Ve with Saroj Khan. She then made appearances in such shows as Intezaar, Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale, Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story, Adaalat, Teri Meri Love Stories, Ramayan, and Savdhaan India. Between 2013 and 2019, the actress became further known for her portrayal of Dr. Ishita Bhalla in the TV drama Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

While on the show, she’s made appearances in the sports reality shows Box Cricket League 1 and Box Cricket League 2. In 2017, she was a contestant in the reality series Nach Baliye 8 and finished as the winner. She returned the following season as host. She reprised her role as Dr. Ishita Bhalla in Yeh Hai Chahatein.

In an interview, Divyanka Tripathi got candid about her diet and how she practices nutrition and balance to stay healthy. “I start my day with a glass of green juice since they are not high on sugar,” said the actress. She usually eats fruits for breakfast, or if she’s feeling indulgent she has oil-free pancakes.

She also shared how she needs to watch her diet because of her slow metabolism. “I have to control my diet, I don’t have a great metabolic rate,” she explained. That’s why she limits her consumption of carbs and sugar is something that she absolutely avoids. The only carbs and sugar she allows herself to eat are rotis, which she already considers a cheat day if ever she had some.
