Christopher Heyerdahl is a Canadian actor. During his early years in the 1980s, he debuted in the TV series 21 Jump Street. In the ’90s, he landed roles in some films, including Highlander III: The Sorcerer, Silent Trigger, The Education of Little Tree, and The Peacekeeper, among others. Later in 2002, he portrayed Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire in the miniseries Napoléon. He next became known for starring as the Wraith Todd in Stargate Atlantis. He went on to play Marcus Volturi in 2009’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon. He reprised the role in the sequels The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. In the 2010s, the actor became further known for starring as Thor “The Swede” Gundersen in the TV series Hell on Wheels. Afterward, he played Sam in Van Helsing, Don Berryman in Damnation, Louis Gagnon in Tin Star, and Augustus Nickel in Pure.
