During this period, he appeared in several feature films and short films. He became more active in the 2010s, joining the main cast of the HBO series Girls as Ray Ploshansky. He also appeared in the films Supporting Characters, Gayby, Sleepwalk with Me, Inside Llewyn Davis, Summer of Blood, 7 Chinese Brothers, and Hail, Caesar!. More recently he acted in the movies Girlfriend’s Day and Sidney Hall. He’s also directed the episode “Love Stories” on Girls.
