Adam Rayner

Adam Rayner was born on 28 August 1977 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England. He attended Durham University where he finished his degree. Afterward, he studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In 2003, he made his acting debut as Nick Bottomley in the British comedy-drama series At Home with the Braithwaites.

Rayner landed roles in such films as Love and Other Disasters, Straightheads, and Steel Trap. He later gained recognition for his role as Dominic Montgomery in the TV serial Mistresses. He also guest-starred in Doctor Who. After Mistresses, he starred as Dr. Steve Shaw in the American series Hawthorne. From 2014 to 2016, he played Bassam “Barry” Al-Fayeed in the FX series Tyrant. Following this, he played the lead in the action film The Saint.
