Lily Donaldson was born on January 27, 1987 in Hammersmith, London, England. She was 16 when scouted to become a model. Since then, she landed ad campaigns for such companies as Max Mara, Shiatzy Chen, Dior, Jil Sander, and Dolce & Gabbana, garnering her attention in the modeling world. In 2007, she became more known after appearing on the cover of American Vogue with other models.

She has since been featured on the covers Vogue for Great Britain, Italy, China, and Australia. She was further exposed after signing a deal with Victoria’s Secret, leading her to appear in Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show consecutively from 2010 to 2015. She is currently the face of Burberry.
