Biography:

Mouni Roy was born on September 28, 1985 in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. She attended the Miranda House in Delhi where she majored in English before switching to Mass Communication at Jamia Millia Islamia University.

Her television career began when she competed in the singing competition Say Shaava Shaava. Following her elimination, she landed the role of Krishna Tulsi Virani in the serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

She has since appeared in other television shows including Kaho Na Yaar Hai, Kya Dill Mein Hai, Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano, Pati Patni Aur Woh, and Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, among others.
