Biography:

Liza Weil was born on June 5, 1977 in Passaic, New Jersey. She began her acting career on stage and later made her first television appearance in The Adventures of Pete & Pete in 1994. In the late 1990s, she has appeared in the movies Whatever and Stir of Echoes. Her breakthrough came in 2000 after landing the role of Paris Geller in Gilmore Girls.

In the late 2000s and early 2010s, she busied herself with mostly guest appearances on the television shows Eleventh Hour, In Plain Sight, Grey’s Anatomy, and Private Practice. In 2012, she became known for her recurring role, playing Amanda Tanner in Scandal. She also played the recurring role of Milly Stone in Bunheads the following year. She returned to television as a regular star, thanks to her role as Bonnie Winterbottom in How to Get Away with Murder (2014-present).
