Biography:

Justin Chambers was born on July 11, 1970 in Springfield, Ohio, U.S.. He studied acting at HB Studio in New York. While in Paris, he was discovered by a modeling scout. He soon started a modeling career. He eventually went back to acting. He initially made his television debut on the soap opera Another World in 1995. He next appeared on the TV movie Harvest of Fire.

In 1999, he made his first film appearance in Liberty Heights. He next appeared in the 2001 films The Wedding Planner and The Musketeer. Before this, he had a regular role on the short-lived series Four Corners. He also appeared on the TV movie Hysterical Blindness. After a short-lived stint on Cold Case, he got his big break as Dr. Alex Karev on Grey’s Anatomy. He still plays the role up to present.
