Don Cheadle is an American actor. He has since ventured into writing, directing, and producing. His work in Hollywood began in the 1980s, debuting in the independent film 3 Days. His first credited role was in 1987’s Hamburger Hill. He further established his career during the ’90s, landing roles in Devil in a Blue Dress, Rosewood, and Boogie Nights. He later gained recognition for his supporting role in Out of Sight. In the 2000s, he became further known for his performances in Traffic, Ocean’s Eleven and its sequels. He was then acclaimed for his performance, portraying Paul Rusesabagina in Hotel Rwanda, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award. In the 2010s, he played James “Rhodey” Rhodes / War Machine in Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, as well as the recently released Avengers: Infinity War. He also played the lead Marty Kaan on the Showtime series House of Lies.
