Biography:

Zoe Zaldana was born on June 19, 1978 in Passaic, New Jersey. She began training at Espacio de Danza Dance Academy where she learned ballet and other dance forms.

At age 17, Zoe and her family moved back to the US where her love for dance and theatre performance became stronger that she began performing with the Faces theatre troupe.

She was recruited for a talent agency and won the role of Eva Rodriguez in Center Stage. She later gained prominence for her roles in Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Star Trek and Avatar.
